Turtle Beach Resort

Booked a 2 night stay in 2 bd room. Room was great, full sized lounge, dining kitchen, fridge 2 bathrooms. King bed was very comfy and being on the top floor was very quiet. Nice looking out over the Adults only pool and spa. **Downside was the washer dryer combo did not dry very well and even after 3 hours the clothes weren't dry. **there were no spare blankets in the wardrobe which would have been nice as there was only air con in the lounge. Lots of pool areas to choose from. On-site cafe had a good menu and reasonably priced. We had a nice quiet, comfortable stay

To be honest the location is fantastic and our room was spacious but it was VERY dated. Toilet door wouldn't close, shower door wouldn't close, appliances were dated, toilets didn't flush properly and the beds were hard as rocks. Our room was serviced on day 3 and then not again for the rest of our stay (9 nights). The water park needs upgrading or at the very least, a lick of paint. The pools were lovely. Next time I'll probably look elsewhere as I'll get better for $2600 for 9 days.

The resort is run down and incredibly expensive for what you get. Staff didn’t activate our cards properly on check in, no elevators for higher rooms, old and dirty rooms, cleaning staff barging into our room unannounced. You also have to pay for clean towels. I can understand charging for beach towels but $5 per room towel when the washing machine doesn’t even have a hot cycle. Would not recommend, especially for younger families. Location is only saving grace.
