Turtle Inn

Turtle Inn in Placencia exceeded every expectation and gave our family, and our two beloved dogs, an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, refreshing drinks, and the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. Every detail at Turtle Inn has been thoughtfully curated. The design is both elegant and charming, blending natural textures with local artistry in a way that feels organic and luxurious. The lush gardens, meandering paths, and postcard-perfect beachfront setting create an atmosphere that is both serene and vibrant. One of the standout features for us was how dog-friendly the property is. Our pups were not only welcomed but genuinely spoiled. From dog bowls to warm greetings from staff, they were treated like VIPs throughout our stay. The service is absolutely top-notch—professional, attentive, and sincerely friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were incredibly knowledgeable about local recommendations and experiences. And the food and drinks? Phenomenal. From morning fry jacks to fresh seafood dinners, every meal was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive, perfectly crafted to complement the seaside vibe. In short, Turtle Inn is paradise perfected—where every detail has been considered and every guest (furry ones included) is treated like family. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already planning our return. 🌴🐾✨

Stayed at a nearby resort and heard people in our excursions rave about the pizza, so we went for dinner at the pizzeria. It was fantastic! We ate in the small pizzeria overlooking the garden. There's a center island with seating around it and a table off to the side, so a small setting (but you can order the pizza from all restaurants on site). The pizza was perfect and our waiter was so polite and pleasant as well. Already planning a return.

We did not stay at the resort, but we approached it to inquire about the tea shop, and we were greeted with the best hospitality I've ever met. Marvin gave us am immersive tour of the garden, chicken coup, and tea shop. He even made me a little bouquet to gift my girlfriend. It was a surreal experience. Ian designed every corner of the tea shop meticulously. The tea leaves are arranged so you can see their nutritional values, the sun streaks through the roof, and the orchids are a finishing touch. The rest of the resort is speckled with hidden restaurants and pools. A true paradise.
