Tusita Boutique Hotel

The Tusita Hotel is an excellent budget-friendly option, especially for travelers looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport. I stayed here for 5 nights and found the experience enjoyable overall. My balcony room was spacious, with a nice view of the bustling street. While the music at night could be a bit loud, it didn’t bother me much. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower had great water pressure, making the stay comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal, with several Indian restaurants and money exchange shops nearby, which was very convenient. A mini-mart right across the street was perfect for grabbing snacks and drinks. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing spot to unwind, though it is a bit shallow. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring the stay was smooth. The hotel’s proximity to the airport makes it a great option for those catching flights or looking for a short stopover. Despite its simplicity, The Tusita Hotel delivers great value for the price. For budget-conscious travelers seeking convenience and comfort, this hotel is a solid choice. Warning: if you are placed in rooms 501-504 or 505 you’ll be directly below the roof top pool. We stayed here briefly before a flight out of DPS. We were in room 502, circled in attached picture. Being in the room only briefly, it sounded like we were inside a waterbed. I went up to the roof and there was a family of kids playing and jumping in the pool. I don’t begrudge them that in the least: it was during pool hours and I hope they had fun. But if you’re put in one of the block of rooms directly below it, your stay may not be peaceful.

Disappointed and Misled by Klub 8 Asia Ventures Booking Experience at the Tusita Boutique Hotel, Bali We reserved and made full payment online for two deluxe interconnected rooms with balconies via Klub 8 Asia Ventures, a partner of the hotel. After a long and exhausting 9-hour journey with small children from our home country to Bali, we arrived at the hotel around 7 PM—only to be informed at check-in that no interconnected rooms were available. Instead, we were offered: One deluxe twin room without a balcony One deluxe double room with a balcony While both rooms were on the same floor, they were located at opposite ends, far from each other—not ideal for a family with young kids. We were told the hotel was fully booked and our only option was to either check-in or cancel the reservation without any refund/compensation. We had no choice but to proceed with check-in, as we were utterly exhausted after the long journey. All we wanted was a good rest and to make the best of the situation, hoping to bear with the inconvenience over the next few days. We didn’t want this setback to ruin the mood of our overseas family trip. The deluxe twin room we were given was located directly in front of the lift, which made it extremely noisy throughout our stay. With guests constantly coming and going, the sound from the corridor and lift area made it difficult for us—and especially our kids—to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, we were scheduled to attend a preview session introducing the holiday concept by Klub 8 Asia Ventures, originally planned at the hotel’s meeting room on the 6th floor. However, this session was relocated without prior notice, and the instructions provided by the General Manager of Klub 8 Asia Ventures were confusing and unreasonable. This forced us to change our plans abruptly, navigating through terrible traffic jam at the road in front of the hotel that was completely gridlocked for over an hour. This not only disrupted our schedule but also ruined our overall experience in Bali, especially for our children who were disappointed as they couldn’t enjoy the rooftop swimming pool in the hotel as planned. This experience left us feeling cheated and extremely disappointed, especially after trusting the booking partner and planning our stay based on the promised room configuration. We feel deeply misled and let down by Klub 8 Asia Ventures and hope others will be cautious when booking through this partner.
