This was my second stay at the Twelve Hotel Downtown Atlanta — the first was for business, and I recently returned for a leisure trip. Once again, it did not disappoint! Abby at the front desk was exceptional. Her customer service was top-tier — professional, warm, and incredibly helpful. She offered great local recommendations and was especially kind to my guests when they joined me to enjoy the pool. Speaking of the pool — it’s beautiful, clean, and a perfect spot to relax. The gym is also impressive, well-equipped, and spacious. I haven’t had the chance to dine at the hotel restaurant yet, but it’s always buzzing with guests, so I imagine it’s worth trying. Overall, a great experience both times. I’ll definitely be back!
Dion makes it ten stars! He was Extremely friendly, prompt and professional service for a rather late check in on a last min reservation. This is a Breathe of fresh air compared to some later night check in experiences I’ve had. Coming in exhausted from travel, The room is perfect…, spacious luxury and accommodating! The view is amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better place after a long drive. 2 bed 2 bath is perfect for toddlers & kids or for grown vibes.
I would have loved to give this place 5 stars but ultimately I had to take a star off for the poor cleaning. The pros: amazing front desk service. Always smiling and always helpful. They will greet you as you come in and as you leave making you feel at home. If you bring something to their attention, they will correct it. Valet parking is $40 per day but honestly that is a decent price compared to other nearby hotels. They took care of our car very well and we never had to wait long. Swimming pool was large with plenty of lounge chairs. But they did run out of towels around 4pm on a Saturday. The con: Just lack of attention by the cleaning staff. When we checked in, our floor was not properly vacuumed as there were some chips bits on the floor still. Second day, our dirty bath towels were not replaced with new ones. They also did not give us any hand soap. The room phone did not work unfortunately. I’m sure had we reported earlier to front desk, they would have taken care of it. But at the same time, replacing new towels and giving guests soap should be in the basic turnover procedure of cleaning staff and not be something guests need to tell front desk to get rectified. All in all this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful experience!
