Twin Swans Motel

Very clean and comfortable room with all the basics you need ! Fresh towels daily and it seems they clean the room daily too (even though I only stayed two nights). Very happy with my stay here :)

After 10hrs of travelling i was handed keys to my room only to find it hadn't been cleaned from the previous person. Get given another room, all is ok, shit happens. It was the rest of the stay that was worse. They never clean the room. Each day was given a new towel and that's it. Didnt make the bed, top up soaps or even vacuum the floor. Left tag on the door to "please make up the room" and still nothing, just a towel on an unmade bed with a dirty floor. Heater is bad and no weather seals on door so very drafty. I'll be telling my company to never book here again.

Having been a regular client of the Twin Swans motel, and always extremely happy, we no longer will be staying there or at the other motel in Inverell the motel manager owns. Due to family sickness, we phoned the manager and asked if we could NOT get a refund, but use our booking money at another time in the near future. We fully understood that this may not be possible.The manager became extremely rude and abrupt, stating that he would be keeping all the money. His angry attitude and abruptness, was unnecessary and unwelcome. He has lost not only our future regular clientele, but also the future clientele of family, friends, our business associates and contacts, at both motels he owns in Inverell. Customer service costs nothing, but a lack of it will definitely cost you a lot in the future.
