I had a wonderful stay at Itz Suites! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I also appreciated the calm atmosphere and excellent service throughout my visit. Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Would definitely come back again.
We stayed there for five nights. The location is really nice with. Lose by cafes, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms were clean, I was going to give them 5 star but our experience during breakfast was unpleasant. The manager responsible for breakfast was very unfriendly if not rude. She didn’t treat us with respect and when we asked a question she started talking about us in Turkish with her coworker. My daughter needed to take her medicine with honey and when I went to the buffet to pick it up she stopped me and said it was 10:35 and the buffet closes at 10:30. I could still see the honey in the buffet. She said I have to order it through room service and it will be charged to our room. I did tell the front desk about the incident. It there was no follow up.
Unfortunately, our recent experience with this hotel was very disappointing. Due to the severe earthquake that struck Istanbul shortly before our arrival, we had no choice but to cancel our trip for safety reasons. We immediately informed the hotel and kindly requested either a free cancellation or a postponement of our stay. Despite the extraordinary situation, our requests were repeatedly declined without any sign of flexibility or understanding. As returning guests, we expected a much more accommodating and supportive response, especially considering the difficult circumstances in the city at the time. It was very disheartening to see that, while many people were forced to sleep outdoors or in their cars, the hotel insisted strictly on their formal policies without showing any empathy. We had previously enjoyed our stays here, but this experience has changed our perception completely. Hospitality is not just about providing a room — it’s about offering care and understanding when your guests need it most. Sadly, we cannot recommend this hotel anymore and will not be returning.
