Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel Golf & Spa

Good hotel, spa and golf course. Even though we booked a family room we were given a double room with a pop up bed. For a week's stay this was pretty cramped. Hotel is dated and service a bit slow when busy. Overall loolimg past this, a good time was had by all for the stay

We visited for our wedding anniversary getaway. Obviously a golfers paradise! Positives: lovely grounds for walking - we aren’t golfers. Great staff, breakfast was really good, lots of choice including a hot breakfast with good quality food, continental, and a fab coffee machine! We had an issue with our room and the staff sorted it quickly. Staff were always helpful and were kind enough to move us to another room. Large rooms, very clean, good quality towels, and rooms are a decent standard. Comfy beds. Negatives: no air conditioning in any of the rooms. I haven’t stayed at a hotel without air con before, but staff were kind enough to give us a fan. This was essential for us as we traveled with our baby and it was 25 degrees outside and hotter indoors. As its near woodlands there are lots of wasps in the area, which meant we couldn’t open our window. A little updating and TLC needed in rooms, particularly the bathrooms.

After our previous visit, we chose Ufford to be our base for our Niece's nearby wedding. Felt like the resort has been allowed to fall into decline sadly. From our initial arrival at reception, to getting our rooms, and getting something to eat before restaurant closed, not a great experience for us. However if you are a golfer I'm sure you will enjoy.
