Uliv Cibeles

This is the hotel I have stayed in my travels. The location is excellent for any and everything. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The room provided everything for cooking. The room had a view of the city. I recommend the 12th floor. The price is affordable, especially with the accommodations. I highly recommend

Overall good experience! - Room: very spacious, there's a nice little kitchenette. Bed is pretty comfortable. However, the bathroom was pretty dingy and the towels were super worn-out looking. - Location: fantastic location and very walkable to lots of restaurants, cafes and little boutiques. - Noise: the hotel is on one of the inner streets which was why I picked it because it was a lot quieter. However, the rooms are not sound proof at all, you can hear everything happening in the hallways. I was also on the first floor (which is actually the 5th floor of the building) so I could still hear noise from the streets (which wasn't bad but you did get the occasional shouting). I slept with earplugs and was able to get through it but it can be loud when people are coming and going from their rooms.

My family booked a 2 week stay here since it is marketed as 2 bedrooms. The second “bedroom” is not a real bedroom because it doesn’t have a window. The apartment itself is very dark because the only window is in one bedroom. The first apartment they put us in was absolutely filthy. The showers are covered in mold, the walls caked with scuffs, gunk and makeup everywhere, the floors dirty everywhere you step. They moved us to a new apartment which they said was “remodeled” but every dish and glass from the cabinet was dirty. The plates had food residue and finger prints all over them. The glasses were covered with lip stains. The towels are all old and worn, some torn, some dirty. Overall the standard for cleanliness at Uliv Cibeles is poor.
