Umajati Retreat

This hotel is stunning with the warmest and friendliest staff! Thank you to all the staff, especially Ema (for taking us on an introdutoon tour), Kisna (for the brilliant Canang making class) and Novi (for being really helpful through the guest experience whatsapp). Our room was beautiful, quiet and clean with lovely views. Great location for travelling around central Ubud. We managed to walk to the Monkey Forest, Ubud palace, and the Water Temple. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Ubud, and we hope to be back soon to visit again!!! Terima Kasih!

If you are looking for one of the quieter parts of Ubud to stay in, this may not be the right option. The location is more suited for those who want walking access to the Monkey forest temple, cafe and restaurants and easy connectivity to Ubud Palace and Market. The mini rice field in the resort was a nice touch. Our stay was good - food with the nearby restaurants was a big plus. Pool was nice. Had a good spa treatment as well. The staff was good and we got some lovely breakfast boxes for our early morning tours. All in all, a good experience.

Rooms and decor are more traditional style but very well maintained and very clean. The room had very soft lighting and an open style toilet. Unfortunately the water pressure in the shower was very very low. Just a trickle!! Staff are friendly and eager to cater to all your needs. The hotel grounds are beautiful and right next to the famous and busy Pison. On the main road but very quiet until you step out front. Very busy road but close to great food and main attractions.
