We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Osaka. It's a very nice hotel, with lots of free things available for hotel guests in the lobby (coffee, snacks, toiletries etc). They also have 2 washing machines available in the lobby, but it can be a bit tricky to find availability as they get taken very quickly. But on your room tv, you can see whether they are free or not! Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was also a decent size. It's about 10-15 min walk to Osaka Station. Highly recommend, and we will stay here again next time we're in Osaka.

I stayed at Umedaholic for 5 nights, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there! I found the hotel while searching for places to stay on a cheaper budget. I tend to go for hostels, but this time I figured id expand my budget and find a hotel that was decent but didn't break the bank. I payed roughly 138 a night for one of their doubles, without the breakfast add on. For me, that was a decent price for what I was getting: a modern hotel with modern amenities, at a fairly decent price. When arriving, I came from Shin Osaka station, and although there is a line you can take to the hotel, the stop is a bit of a walk from line you'd be taking. Id recommend getting a taxi, especially if you have a lot of luggage. Check in was fairly easy, with the majority of the staff having passible English. Check in took no time at all, and soon enough I was in my room. The room was nice, and had a lot of space for an individual traveler at least. It might be a bit tight with two people and each of their luggage, but overall I think you can make it work (If its not too big you might be able to put luggage under the bed maybe? I dont remember how large the space is under there). You have a toilet room, a decent shower room, and a little sink and sofa area. They have a little table you can take off the wall you can use as a desk, along with a nice tv and a mini fridge. The room had an ac unit and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to sleep well every night there. The hotel is very nice and modern, a nice look with English and Japanese instructions everywhere. In some places, they even had instructions in even more language, like the tv portal with all of the information (local eateries, how to use the laundry, etc.). The staff did a great job of keeping the area clean. The staff was very friendly. Whenever I had questions or request, they were more than happy to accommodate me. They took some of my unburnable trash, they helped me figure out how to ship my luggage, and much more. They are great! I did have breakfast there twice, and if I remember correctly if you're paying out of pocket it'll be roughly 1600 yen. I got the curry breakfast each time, and it was so good! They also have some small additions you can pick up like yogurt and pastries, so that was nice One thing to note: This area is very close to Umeda, which is nice, but the blocks directly surrounding this place are covered in love hotels and adult establishments, so I wouldn't recommend coming to this area if you have children. Overall, I'm really happy I stayed here, and would definitely recommend it to any travelers coming!

Decent hotel, with fairly spacious rooms by European standards. The staff is always professional, as usual. A major issue is the morning light in the room, which is very annoying due to the absence of shutters. Another big downside is the breakfast: very poor and far from the very concept of breakfast. There’s still a lot of work to be done in that area.
