Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel

We've been regular guests at this beach hotel for over 10 years, and it never disappoints. The oriental restaurant is truly a highlight — the food tastes amazing every time, and the singers and dance shows create a magical atmosphere we always look forward to. The liquor shop is well-stocked and convenient, and the beach day-use access is perfect for relaxing days in the sun. The rooms are a bit old and average in style, but they are always clean and comfortable, which is what matters most to us. What really stands out is the excellent service — the staff are friendly, attentive, and make us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a warm, lively, and relaxing experience by the beach!

The room was clean and acceptable, and the staff were generally fine. Overall, the experience was okay—not quite what I was expecting, but not bad either. It met the basic standards, though it didn’t stand out in any particular way. Our stay was generally fine, but there were a few issues. The staff were not particularly friendly, and we didn’t receive proper guidance during our stay. We were asked to move our car from the shaded area due to an event, which is understandable, but as guests, we found it inconvenient that there was no parking available near our room when we arrived. That’s why we had to park wherever space was available. Before arriving, we messaged the hotel to ask if the gym would be accessible, as we were staying for two nights and three days and wanted something to do during our time there. Unfortunately, we arrived very late for check-in—around 3 AM—and though we requested a late check-out, it wasn’t granted due to an event happening at the hotel. The room itself had some issues: there were leaks, the shower sink overflowed, and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which made it unpleasant. TV is not working well and ends up with nothing to do in the hotel. We also requested bathrobes, as they were listed in the booking, but we never received them. Overall, the stay was okay. There wasn’t much to do in the area except for the beach and pool, but because of the hot weather, we couldn’t enjoy them for long.

Scam Alert ! We paid 500+ aed for one night stay with breakfast, which we dont mind Room was not as advertised It was not renewed/renovated as they claimed Doors let in a lot of heat And at night the music enters from everywhere AC was leaking in living room all night Other AC was as loud as a waching machine we could not sleep Not to mention poor quality mattress that need to be changed ASAP Breakfast was okay with a good variety and was fresh as well However not all staff are professional For example reception and room service never pick up calls No concierge service was provided for bags Security are not friendly as well Super sad that LUMI is located here I do recommend LUMI for a day pass But sleeping at the hotel is not worth it at all Also rules are super weird for example you have women running around in thongs they dont mind that but if a man is in speedos its a big problem and they say its against beach dress code LOL One last point, please never ever let your staff use the excuse ( fully booked and too busy ) while the resort is literally empty. VIP note : I forgot my charger in the room and I have been calling them for a month now, but no answer ! They keep on saying remind us on whatsapp we are too busy. Quick update : they did not find it lol.
