The staff at this hotel were just okay, but most of the time they seemed completely unaware of what was going on. Our room had no functioning air conditioning at all. In my friend’s room (515), the sink was completely clogged. Our own room had blankets with water stains — it was honestly disgusting. I definitely do not recommend this place. There was no anti-slip mat in the shower, and my friend slipped right after finishing her shower and opening the door. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and even with the window closed, we could still hear the loud traffic outside. It was noisy and made it really hard to rest. We were a group of friends traveling together. On the first night, we brought our own drinks and sat at the outdoor seating area. Originally, we wanted to sit at the bar, but the staff told us we couldn’t stay there and that only the outdoor area was allowed — which we respected. However, on the second night, we sat outside again, and this time a different staff member came and told us we weren’t allowed to sit there either. We explained that we just wanted a space to chat and asked if we could use the lobby, but they said that was not allowed either. When we asked where we could go, they simply told us to stay in our rooms. That was absolutely ridiculous — there was no shared space available for guests at all. All of this made us feel very unwelcome. Honestly, I have no idea why they even run a hotel if they don’t want guests to actually use the space. The facilities look new, but nothing actually works. This experience really made me feel disappointed in the city itself, just because of how terrible this hotel was. Please — do yourself a favor and don’t book this place. Totally not recommended.

I wish I’d read the other reviews - so far, this hotel experience is terrible. This is like a 2* hotel with 4* prices. Staff at front desk unhelpful and dismissive. Rooms have poor insulation and couldn’t sleep due to the noise. I was lied to and told all rooms are booked for the entirety of my stay so it can’t be changed - without them knowing my room or how long I’m staying; meanwhile there are plenty of rooms available on their site. A room was later “found” that was even worse. There is a lack of amenities. This is like a 2* hotel with 4* prices. Location: not in a pretty part of Bologna, it’s in a desolate area but a highway, there is a bus stop near by but although it took me 30 minutes to get into central Bologna; it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to make my way back due to bus times and the fast location. I’ll update my review later but as it stands, I regret coming here and I’m just trying to avoid letting it ruin the whole trip. I’ve had to book a different hotel to salvage the trip.

This is my second stay at this hotel, as we are visiting as company representatives and usually book several rooms. Unfortunately, the level of service has noticeably declined over the past three years. While I won't dwell on the fact that we often return to untidy rooms, or that amenities seem to be limited to just one packet of body lotion and a single coffee capsule – justified by the fact that we're staying alone in higher-category rooms – such details leave a negative impression. When I requested an iron, I was met with a lecture about how few are available in the hotel and advised to request one only if I truly intended to use it. After some back-and-forth, I was finally provided with a broken iron, and only for 30 minutes – as it was needed by other guests as well. I must agree with another review stating that this feels more like a two-star hotel charging four-star prices. Unfortunately, we will not be choosing this hotel for our future visits to Bologna.
