UNA Hotels Bologna San Lazzaro

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, and what stood out most was their commitment to inclusivity by hiring individuals with special needs. This initiative not only fosters a welcoming environment but also showcases the immense talent and dedication of these employees. Supporting such practices is vital as it promotes social responsibility and creates a unique, heartfelt guest experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and its inspiring approach to inclusivity.

Great stay with excellent breakfast options (loved the breads and yoghurts💚). Only downside was a cold/ blunt receptionist with white, short curly hair and glasses.

Check in was not smooth. There must have been a delay in the system because our reservation was not showing up on their end and we were asked if we wanted to pay again to reserve a room. No. Doesn’t even make sense. We received two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar. We weren’t told anything about the property, not even what direction to head to get to our room. Upon check in, one of the towels is dirty and the ceiling in the hall is dripping water, presumably from the ac unit. There is ample parking but the hotel is definitely one of those situations where it looks better online than real life. The hallways are dark and oppressive and the rooms feel like a jail cell. Calling this a 3 star facility would be being generous.
