UNA Hotels Capotaormina

Loved our stay here - wish we could have stayed longer. So many amenities and services that elevated our trip to Taormina. Shuttle to and from the city center was so convenient. Awesome fitness center for a hotel. Amazing Pool and private beach with bars and food at each. The pool and beach staff were immensely helpful and friendly - they knew my name and room number by the end of the day. The restaurants were great and not too expensive. The crown jewel of our stay was the daily breakfast. The food and drink were so perfect, and you get to eat with an amazing view of the city and Mt Etna. Would come back just to have breakfast there again. The one downside I’ve read was the quality of the rooms. They are slightly outdated but everything else about this hotel made that an afterthought. We had an ocean view room and it was stunning to wake up to seagulls and a view of the crystal blue ocean. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

UNA Hotels Capotaormina was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The location on the cliff is absolutely breathtaking – especially the large terrace where you have breakfast, enjoy a drink or a meal at the bar, all with a stunning view of Mount Etna and the Sicilian coastline. A real highlight is the elevator that takes you straight down to the private beach, tucked away in a beautiful rocky cove. There’s also a spacious pool area with direct access to the sea. Lifeguards are always present, and the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The poolside restaurant serves sensational food for both lunch and dinner – truly impressive. The rooms aren’t ultra-modern, but they are comfortable, well-maintained, many with balconies and lovely views. The terraces throughout the property offer breathtaking panoramas. There’s also a convenient shuttle service to and from Taormina, which is really well organised. A true highlight of my trip – I would absolutely go back without hesitation.

Stayed here with our adult children, location is so beautiful and the views are breathtaking .. Hotel premises, indoor and outdoor are very outdated and hotel needs major refurbishing, rooms are spacious but also need work. Staff at beach area were overworked and cranky with a little rudeness, the ones at the pool area were much nicer. Food can be better for the prices payed. Breakfast was good but the presentation could be so much more refined .. I personally would not go back again unless refurbished.
