Absolutely amazing experience at UNA HOTELS Regina Bari! We booked our honeymoon there and we loved it. The rooms have a medieval vibe with all the amenities, freshly cleaned and fresh and clean towels every day! The pool was superb as was the breakfast! The staff were so polite and smiling all the time. Especially Francesca at the front desk — she was incredibly helpful, kind, and truly made us feel at home. She went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed, always with a warm smile. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you for making our stay so special!
I have just returned from a 3 day break with my husband, daughter, and brother in law to pay a visit to the Bari war cemetery, which was the purpose of the trip. The hotel was fabulous. The rooms were very well presented as was all the hotel. The staff were very pleasant polite and professional. There was a shuttle bus which dropped and collected us from the station and the port area of torre a mare. They spoke very good English as we speak basically no Italian! The breakfast was outstanding many choices but I had 2 highlights the hot croissants were to die for and the best ever was the pancake machine !! The reception staff were very helpful helping us to get to the correct war cemetery and how to get there and also recommend other towns to visit in the area. We went to monopoli and polignano a mare which were so beautiful and also into Bari town which is also lovely. We went in to Bari torre a mare to eat and had a great meal. It really is a great hotel in the gem of Puglia
This hotel could be a fantastic hotel, however it's a little tired and needs money spent to bring this hotel up to modern expectations of a 5 star hotel. Some of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, but others have "jobs worth" attitude, and the customer is interrupting their work. The bulidings could be lovely, set in nice grounds with a lovely pool area. The restaurant is a nice place to eat and the food is good, but not top class. Overall it has great potential but is missing the mark.
