Unahotels Palazzo Mannaioni Toscana

Lovely hotel in centrally located village overlooking the surrounding countryside. We were lucky to get the suite (in the new part of the hotel) which is huge! The breakfast buffet has everything you expect with freshly made coffees (we still miss Roberta's cappuccino's in the morning at home!) The pool was a welcome refreshment after (or during) a hot summer day. The local pigeons seemed to think so too and used it to quench their thirst. Feature or nuisance? It's up to you. :) Highly recommended as a base to explore Tuscany. The covered parking has two (Tesla) charging points.

The hotel staff, such as reception, breakfast or cleaning staff, was very helpful friendly and service oriented. They all were nice to us and also our dog felt well. The room was very hot in August but after a room change we were very happy with our pretty Tuscan room. Thank you again for this solution. Also you have to see this beautiful Italian city Montaione which has shown us the real Italian lifestyle. A nice conclusion of our holiday was the breakfast "goodie bag" when leaving the hotel early in the morning. It as such a sweet surprise. Thank you for all. Greetings from Germany! :)

I expected a lot more... We got one of their older rooms to stay in. The room had a charm but was under our stay cleaned poorly. We tried sitting by the pool area and as the heat was unbearable it was difficult to stay without an umbrella. For being a hotel with 40+ rooms, they should seriously consider to offer their guests more than 4 umbrellas. The staff was ok, but sometimes hard to find them. Good restaurant with tasteful wine I’m sure this hotel might have been better for someone else, it might have been so that we’ve overly romanticized our stay beforehand by seeing all this amazing images from the newer rooms. With that being said, Toscany is wonderful!
