Unda

We recently returned from a 9 night stay in Unda. We were initially concerned, pre travel, with some of the reviews that had been posted following the June opening of the hotel. Having contacted hotel management, we were reassured that early teething issues were being resolved and we are happy to say this was most certainly the case. We enjoyed the most fabulous time at Unda and would recommend this hotel to all. The hotel grounds and accommodation are at a very high standard and maintained daily to keep the environment in a fabulous condition. Rooms were of a good size and catered for all of our needs. As a family of two adults and two children, we decided to book two rooms, both were a little different but were equally lovely. The bathrooms were very well appointed and had wonderful rain showers. On to the food. The food is generally served as a buffet but do not think of those busy crowded buffets you find in many large all inclusive hotels in places such as Turkey….NO!. The buffets options were carefully curated each day and whilst some dishes bore resemblance to others from previous days, each dish was a twist on the last. Breakfast options were spot on, lunch and dinner the same. We did choose to eat out once but in reality the food in the hotel is to a much higher standard than that available from venues nearby. The hotel has engaged the services of a Michelin star chef to build / curate the food offering on a ‘what mama cooks’ basis and all dishes were hearty and delicious. The chef mentioned visited the hotel several times when we were there to check on the quality and consistency of the food on offer. The hotel offers a carefully designed range of cocktails and normal drinks, beer, spirits etc were easily available and a good quality. One of the highlights of the stay is the team working there. They were hard working but always with a smile, a bit of friendly chit chat and they always made sure our needs were met perfectly. Even hotel management got their hands stuck in to daily tasks when needed to make sure the level of service was constantly being impeccably maintained. Pool area and sunbathing was spot on with the infinity pool looking straight in the sea. The noise of the lapping waves was lovely to wake to and to listen to whilst relaxing by the pool. Outside of the hotel, you can go left or right, walking for around 10 to 15 mins to two ‘villages’ where bars and eateries are available with gift shops etc. Be aware of the mosquito’s. The hotel itself do well in managing them with smoker devices around the hotel in the evening but if walking off resort at night, make sure you use a strong spray to keep them at bay. This is a minor inconvenience went considered in balance with the amazing experience of staying at Unda. Highly recommended and we will certainly look to return. Stayed in early August. Very relaxing holiday.

I recently spent five days at Unda in the north of Corfu, and I can honestly say it was one of the best holiday experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The hotel has a relaxed yet elegant vibe — it’s stylish without trying too hard, and the atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you instantly switch off and start enjoying every moment. The rooms are modern, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. I especially loved the attention to detail — everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully designed. Waking up to a sea view every morning was just magical. Highly recommended!!
