Uni Boutique Hotel & Spa

Great place. Awesome to relax and to vacation. Near to an exclusive beach and surrounded by nature. There is a balcony at all rooms. Full TV channels unlocked and good internet bandwidth. There is a restaurant for dinner and lunch and a SPA (not included on hotel rates)

First the good. The staff was outstanding, friendly, efficient, outstanding. Breakfast was also very good, wide range of choices including a vegan table. Lots of hot water, even in the sink for shaving, unusual in Brazil. Room air conditioning and WiFi were fine. But....the is not a "boutique" type hotel. It is a large property with rooms and chalets built on a hill side. Anyone with mobility challenges may want to reconsider. The property itself self is very dated and could really use a major facelift. Several areas including the rooms are falling apart. It must be a challenge to maintain the grounds, but they are also run down. The pool area needs to be improved as well. We didn't hate Uni, but we won't stay there again

Uni is not a boutique hotel. It is a glorified poussada. The location is amazing. Most likely one of the best spots in Buzios but the hotel is old, not well maintained, everything fails apart and the service is simply awful. The restaurant is a shame (not sure how you can ruin a salad), the pool is dirty and the rooms are old (except the bathrooms) and super noisy for the one on the ground floors with all AC units noise.definitely not recommend and not worth price. There are plenty of very good options very close with a lower price point. This place is a scam.
