Amazing space, with great views. The food is delicious and diverse and the staff are extra nice and speak English. There are many places around to visit, take walks or eat out.
The rooms are clean with a nice view. No swimming pool except the private ones annexed to the suites. The girl on the reception is rude. There are a couple of convenience stores and cafés nearby. You need a car to go to the nearest swimming beach. The breakfast is very modest
The Worst Experience I've Had at a Hotel I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and from the very first day, a foul odor resembling vomit started emanating from the bathroom and grew progressively worse. By the next morning, the stench had permeated the entire room. At first, we assumed it might be something on our end and attempted to mask the smell with perfume and ventilation, but nothing helped. The odor eventually became so unbearable that we could not use the bathroom, prompting us to request a room change the following morning. Instead of changing the room, the hotel sent a cleaning staff member who sprayed deodorizer and offered to clean the bathroom with water. Unfortunately, this was only a temporary fix. The odor continued even after these measures. When we insisted on a room change, the hotel stated that they were fully booked and could not accommodate the request. As a result, we requested a refund for the remaining 2 nights. However, the hotel expressed reluctance, claiming that since the reservation was made through a third-party app, the process would be complicated. Since changing rooms was the only viable solution, we offered to pay an additional fee to move to another room. The hotel then proposed an upgrade to a "Family Deluxe" room with only a minimal discount, asking for an extra 150,000 KRW per night. Later, they suddenly said a Deluxe room had become available and offered a nightly surcharge of 80,000 KRW instead. Although the issue originated entirely from the hotel, their attitude of shifting responsibility to the guest was extremely frustrating. After voicing our complaints, the hotel finally offered a one-night upgrade to a Deluxe room, but only on the condition that we check out the next day and check back into a Standard room. It took over two hours of back-and-forth to reach this agreement, which disrupted our afternoon plans. Nevertheless, we had no choice but to accept it due to scheduling constraints. In the end, while we did get one night in an upgraded room, the inconvenience was far from resolved. The afternoon schedule was ruined, and the next day, we were forced to check out at 11 a.m. and wait outside until the 2 p.m. check-in—something we found completely unacceptable. Consequently, we canceled the final night through the booking app. I fully understand that issues can arise with hotel facilities. However, the lack of accountability and the blatant transfer of inconvenience to the guest are unreasonable. Thinking back, had we not persistently raised the issue, we would have been stuck with a foul-smelling room for the entire 3-night stay. That thought alone continues to leave a bitter taste. I share this extremely unpleasant experience in the hope that it will serve as a reference for others considering this hotel. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
