Unico Cannamele Escape Tropea

Nice hotel with good breakfast, amazing fruit and plenty of items. Pool area is great (closed during siesta though), friendly and helpful staff. Perfect if you have car and want to be close to tropea. Also, good for families. We had a great stay. We didn’t try restaurant.

Little Hotel with very friendly Service. Small pool(very small for a Hotel with 17 rooms. 6 laylows and two tables with chairs)to relax in but little or no shade in the midday sun and it is only 110 cm deep. Very clean and the room Service is outstanding.The eating area(Restaurant, not that i would call it so) is up on the open roof. The Breakfast was the same every morning. You had to fight your way through the wasps😠. You could relax in the Hotel if you can find anywhere comfortable to sit and enjoy the veiw. As far as i have seen, there is only air conditioning in the Hotel rooms(sleeping area).The whole week we where there. We were eaten live by insects🦗 and only on the last night did the hotel disinfect the area. We did not ask of this, we where informed by a flyer in our Hotel room. We also had ants🐜 in our room(104).We had a Free Shuttle Service into the town. All 9 seater mini Busses with little or on room to move. Tropea is about 10 Minutes away. Lots to see and do,

I read on a different review about a potential ants problem. I regretfully have to say there is a real ant problem in the hotel rooms. Knowing ahead of time that there might potentially be ants we made sure to put our sandwich bag in the fridge and keep everything clean. I woke up in the middle of the night to find hundreds of ants crawling and making their way inside the fridge. They made their way inside the bag and the wrapped sandwiches. The bed, the floor the desk had ants. Unacceptable.
