Staff were fantastic! Nothing too much trouble and to top it off the whole team came out with the birthday cake we had brought and sang happy birthday to our friend! We had the Sunday roast which was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Wow! It was the best steak we have had in ages! The presentation, quality of product and quality of cooking was brilliant. The calimari starter was also a fantastic option. Thank you so much Justin and Lucy and all the other wonderful staff for such a great evening of food and drink.

We went for a lunch time meal as our usual pub, The Quarry has closed for food, pending new ownership. Service at the Unicorn was pleasant and helpful However, the food was too limited with only a few large meals available and two friends with me were pensioners and like a small meal. The food was also expensive for what it was. We all three ordered Ham, Eggs and chips option, being the cheapest on the menu. £14 The Ham had a good sweet taste although rather haphazardly sliced. The eggs, were overcooked, and oily. The 3x cooked chips were dark brown, burnt and soft with a lot of oil inside them We couldn't eat the chips. The coffee we ordered was clearly a packet coffee. We used to frequent the Unicorn a lot, a couple of years back and the menu was far better then. The food was also more palatable than that we experienced this time. We wouldn't chance it again.
