Unity Hotel

I have been there only one night Arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning. So can't say much but anyway very good position, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely and polite girl at check in

This is not a hotel is just a serviced room in a small block with no hotel services or facilities! The building sits on a concrete apron, which covers the entire land area. The room is bright and clean with a small bathroom at one end and has a small noisy fridge set in the wardrobe unit. On departing the room, the removal of the key tab cuts off the power to everything, including the fridge. Other than the fire escape plan on the wall, there are no other safety features for yhe protection of guests. The entry door is standard domestic door (not fireproof?) and likewise the entire fit out is of domestic quality. The bathroom/toilet only has a small glass shelf for toiletries. The abundance of power points, separate electricity meters and thin non noise reduction walls indicate it is not of commercial hotel construction or fit out. Simply put, it is more likely suitable for the monthly room rental market. It is close to the railway line, so you will clearly hear many and every train go by, 24/7; and at just after 6am, outside public broadcasting speakers blasting away the daily propaganda for an hour! The location is in the back end of town and very few facilities nearby with only a few basic eating places; unless you like 7 eleven food you need to look elsewhere! You would be unlikely to come to this area, unless you happened to be staying here. As a room it is probably worthy a score of 6/10, mostly because it is new, and as a "hotel" it is more likely worthy a score of 4/10.

Typically two star Thai hotel, not bad beds and everything worked well. No lift and steep stairs so you need to be well trained.
