Universal Hotel Laguna

I personally give this hotel 5* due to the amazing staff that we met there. Especially Laura, the energetic sport trainer & Ruben, the super funny singer. They made our good memories. However, the room has a poor soundproofing and if it’s next to the elevator, you can’t sleep well at night. With the nice sea view & full of hotel activities, I think this hotel would be perfect for family with kids or someone wants to have relaxing days. The location of the it does not fit for young people, coming to Mallorca the first time and want to discover the other part of the island.

Hotel is brilliant. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I took my daughter who has celiac disease, we had breakfast and dinner included. There is a large variety gluten free. The chips weren't gluten free but they fried some especially for her. Also food is labelled if it's gluten free. Hotel is in a very quiet location with just a few other hotels and some shops. We used buses to get to other places, they are easy and cheap. It has lovely pool and is right on the beach and doesn't get too crowded. They also have evening entertainment. Universal is a wonderful hotel! The staff is so kind and helpful! We were welcomed with a complementary drink voucher to use at the pool bar where we enjoyed a glass of Prosecco. The beach is the back yard and they have a restaurant attached. You had to rent towels for the beach and no attached parking garage, but street parking is free and easy to find, despite coming during the height of tourist season. The room was nice, AC wasn't as cold as I would have liked, but it worked. The walls are thin so we could hear our next door neighbor's speaking, but it wasn't a problem. They had entertainment at dinner outside and they encouraged the kids to play along. The breakfast included with our room was WONDERFUL! Coffee machine, sparking wine and a full array of offerings started our morning off right. Thank you for your hospitality!
