Universal's Helios Grand Hotel a Loews Hotel

We rented the How to train your dragon suite and it was perfect! The hotel is elegant on the outside and breathtaking on the inside, every detail is pure magic from the floral decorations on the ceilings to the shooting star galaxy elevators. We absolutely enjoyed our stay !! We all had the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was very delicious with tons and tons of options for everyone to get what they liked. It was a bit pricey for a breakfast buffet, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot express how easy it was to get into the park. We literally took a leisurely stroll from the lobby and we were right inside of epic universe and it was truly remarkable, especially at night. Universal has truly stepped it up a notch with this hotel, and I can’t Recommend this place enough !!

Phenomenal Stay from Start to Finish! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, our experience at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal. Michael greeted us at check-in and was incredibly thorough and friendly, answering all of our questions with genuine care. His attention to detail set the tone for a wonderful stay. Shortly after, Andy from the management team came out to introduce himself. He was warm, enthusiastic, and sincerely kind—it meant a lot that he took the time to welcome us personally. Andy also made sure our hotel reservation and cabana experience were seamless. The service at the cabana was outstanding—our server was attentive and quick, making the experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. We also loved the Helios Bar! The food was delicious, and the kids’ menu was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated as a family traveling with children. To top it all off, when we checked out the next morning, Michael remembered my name—which completely blew me away. That level of personalized service is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of hospitality this hotel provides. The only thing we were a bit surprised by was not receiving pass holder discounts at the hotel restaurants, but we understand this may be due to the hotel being new. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel! Incredible immersive experience with Epic Universe. Bar Helios food was excellent, could improve viewing with taller tables and chairs to go over railing as they had protective windows as well. Pool was a blast with excellent service and kids had fun playing with all the activities. Bell service to get bags was over an hour and hostess at Bar Helios sat us in the wrong section - hence the four stars; but all other service was excellent and lifeguards were alert and at full staff which was a great comfort at the pool. Recommend having option to hear music for fountain show in room.
