We spent 8 nights at the University Arms from July 27 to Aug 4. Overall, we had a great time. We had a room with park-view without terrace. Upon arrival, we got a bowl of fruits as a thank-you for our rather long stay. The only two issues we encountered during our stay were: - No shower curtain so water spilled onto the floor, requiring a lot of towels to keep the floor dry - Light/lamp next to the door was flashing from time-to-time; it will likely blow soon so it would need replacement
We had a wonderful stay at the University Arms Hotel in Cambridge. Fleur and Jody (both working at the reception of this hotel) were really helpful, offering excellent personal service and sharing great tips that helped us get to know the city better. Their friendly approach made our visit even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend the University Arms Hotel to anyone visiting Cambridge.
Absolutely love this hotel. We have stayed a handful of times. We spent our honeymoon here during Covid. Rooms are elegant & cosy. Highly recommend a room/suite with a standing bath. The breakfast is varied. Also recommend taking the hotel bicycles out for a spin, it’s a great way to explore Cambridge. The bar/library for a cocktail is essential 🙂 The restaurant serves a tasty steak. Staff are polite and always helpful.
