Upani in Daini

I enjoyed my time at Upani. The service and facilities were awesome. I was there on a work trip and extended my stay for a family vacation. The kids enjoyed themselves. They love swimming so the well serviced pool within the compound and the fact that the beach is only a few minutes walk from Upani, were both a plus for them. Keep up the great service Upani team!

Wonderful guesthouse tucked away in Galu Beach. It's perfectly located just 5mins walk from the beach and restaurants for all budgets within walking distance (recommend Mojos for affordable, tasty food). Theres also a really well equipped kitchen and plenty of fridge space to cook your own meals. All the staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. We loved it so much we ended up extending. We did have a couple of morning wake up calls from cheeky monkeys banging on the shutters but other than that our stay was tranquil and serene!

We booked a stay at this place to check in as quickly as possible after landing. Unfortunately, before we even departed for Kenya, we received a message saying that the property had no room for us. Honestly, if you're reading this and want a comfortable stay in Kenya, choose another option. Unless, of course, you're okay with spending the night on the beach in a hammock.
