So I booked the hotel room, and the day before arriving I checked reviews (on Google Maps) and I was terrified… I was mentally preparing to fight the night bugs and have none of the comfort. But I was POSITIVELY SURPRISED. The staff was so nice (literally every single one), and I felt quite safe as a solo female traveler. The rooms were moderately clean, no dust, no smell, the towels were changed every day, and I personally (in the single room with gray striped wallpapers), didn’t see any insects and especially night bugs. However they didn’t change the bedding or clean the floor in the room during my 3 nights stay , but so do other budget hotels, so that’s fine). It was a bit hot in the room (beginning of July), but there was a small fan in the room , and the corridors were cooler . The furniture was in „ok condition” , the room felt a bit dim. Breakfast was normal, but some cups were dirty (so pay attention) and some fruits, and I guess food in general, were not fresh (not spoiled, just not fresh). Great location, I didn’t have the need to use public transport, just walked to most touristic places. Overall really nice for what you pay, especially for a solo small luggage traveler.
The room we stayed in is very narrow. The toilet is very small. The interior is very old. You can hear noises from the adjacent rooms. Our door was tried to be opened twice during the night. It is unsafe. Don't be fooled by the score and pictures. The only thing right is its location.
This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at in Europe. The room was very small, extremely dirty, and full of insects. There was also a strange sewage smell coming from the pipes. The shower was inside the room but had no ventilation, so the entire room was filled with humidity, which seriously affected the quality of rest. The most unacceptable part was that out of the four nights we stayed, there was no hot water for two of them. We reported the issue but received a passive or no response, and as a result, we couldn’t take a shower at night. When asking for help, many of the staff were dismissive and had a poor attitude. The soundproofing was terrible, and the noise at night significantly disrupted our sleep. There is no elevator, and the rooms are on high floors, which makes it very difficult to carry large luggage. This is a hotel I wouldn’t return to even if I were paid to stay. The experience was so bad, it honestly couldn’t have been worse.
