Urban Green Hotel & Suites

This is a good place to crash for a few days. It is RIGHT smack in the middle of the city so it is a bit of hustle and bustle. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. However, the rooms are a little odd in that they dont have any windows! You feel like you are on a cruise but if that doesn't bother you you will be OK!

Interesting place to stay one block away from bustling town center - staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is prefect start to trek around town on foot. Enjoyed my stay and would book again. Hotel has unusual modern design with two level of rooms on every floor and staircase to reach second, makes ceiling low in room that are very large otherwise. Hotel been here a while - so not everything works as it should - worth noting if you need everything perfect look for a five star place, we got good value for what we paid and were satisfied with our stay here.

No. Just no. Sheets weren’t clean on arrival. Multiple stains and the carpet was dirty with actual debris that should’ve been picked up by a vacuum. Lots of stains on the carpet as well. Nothing smells fresh or clean either. The room has an adjoining room without a lock on my side. The balcony doesn’t lock. Slept in the stained sheets the first night with towels on the parts that would touch my face hopeful they’re old stains and otherwise “clean”. Hoped for the best and returned the next day to the SAME stains! And NEW hair on the bed- not mine! Requested housekeeping at 5pm, to which they asked if housekeeping came and I said yes they made the bed, but didn’t change the sheets, but they were stained even before I slept in them last night and really just wanted fresh non-stained sheets today. They said they’ll send someone up. Deferred going to eat out to meet them. They never showed. At 8pm asked for a set of sheets to do this myself. Didn’t smell fresh but was told they’re new. Got upstairs, sprayed them with Lysol and opened the sheets, and 3-4 new red hairs! And lots of pilling. Took them backdown and they didn’t even flinch! Like that was their idea of “clean”?! At this time I was told they don’t change sheets daily, and no apologies, but an offer for finding new sheets . I requested just more towels like the night before to use. This was a Superior room, FYI, which is supposedly considered an “upgrade”, fyi. They have a window I guess (compared to some reviews). Definitely not a 4 star. Ps, they have breakfast, which was good (though the server sneezed immediately before grabbing my plate), but no other restaurant so beware if you do stay here and arrive at night. Walking distance to restaurants or uber eats.
