Urban Residences Siem Reap

Had an amazing stay here during low season. My apartment B was outstanding. Everything I needed. Local drivers and staff were so welcoming and wonderful. Owner was so kind. I really enjoyed my five days here. The pool, my apartment, cooking meals and exploring the area. It was magical. Rainy season was perfect for seeing the temples too

Love at first sight : this hotel had my heart the moment we climbed the steep stairs to our room (which felt like a tree house) and i saw the layout of the hotel from our balcony. It is not very big but very well thought out. It's eco friendly and trying to be sustainable while still offering most of the amenities. All the rooms have balconies looking at the saltwater swimming pool in the central courtyard. I wish I had more time to enjoy this hotel. The breakfast is really good too. I fell in love with the Cambodian breakfast dish of Bahn Sung there The best part of the hotel is that it is bang centre of the busy part of town so we only walked 5 mins to the markets, night market and pub street. P.s. theres a cat cafe right next to it with the cutest friendliest cats.

We stayed at the Rambutan Hotel and Resort for three days and it was a very pleasant stay. Rooms: The rooms were traditional but clean and well maintained. Little problems like leaking sinks were corrected immediately. Big shower, no noise problems. Very comfortable bed. The nights get very warm, but the AC is working properly. Service: The staff is the main positive argument for this hotel. Everyone was just nice and very respectful. When I was injured in one of the temples, the staff provided bandages and helped me putting it on. Water was always refilled and free (you could take as much as you want). Chatting with the staff was also welcomed and everyone was always open for questions and flexible changes. Breakfast and Dinner is very good (We recommend the Fish Amok) The salt water pool is the heart of the hotel and it is very romantic to swim because of the trees around. Location: Right in the middle of Siem Reap. You can visit the old and night market per feet. Behind the river are all modern locations (7/11, Burger King, Shoe Shops, Restaurants etc.). You can also visit a traditional khmer show 15 minutes away from the hotel. Angkor Watt and all other temples can be reached by car. All in all we would like to thank the staff of Rambutan Hotel and Resort for their service and we will recommend them for future tourists.
