Service was excellent and you can request everything from the tablet in the room. Guest can control the lighting, curtain and etc via the tablet too. Housekeeping attendant were fast and alert on your needs/request. It is very convenient to walk out of the hotel and grab a food/drink or even catch a movie at the mall which is beside. There are small night market during night time and bar is below the hotel. If you are lazy to step out, just order food from meituan 美团 and it will be delivered to your room by their robot. 4 stars for location because not all drivers knows this location and have to turn a few rounds.
Interesting concept especially for a Westerner. Chinese hospitality co venture w Hyatt elevates the typical Chinese offering by combining with Hyatt standards. The result is pretty good and price point excellent. Rooms are clean and furnishings new. I got a nicer, bigger room due to my Globalist rank. Nothing like a Jr Suite but bigger enough! Amenities in room good. In general it’s spartan but totally adequate Funny stuff like the “fitness center” an elliptical with no power cord, recumbent bike the same. Some weights in a room that was probably the housekeeping closet. Underwhelming and disappointing as I selected this property because of the advertised fitness center. Oh well, obvs not a thing for the Chinese traveler! Generally very clean otherwise, little to no cigarette smoke throughout, whew. Complimentary breakfast is simple, doesn’t compare with Hong Kong! Staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Big shout to Eve and Sail who did their best to help this traveler! In general the staff do not speak English. Was surprised that at least 1 person per shift didn’t speak English. Oh well. Clearly we are not target customer which is totally fair and fine. Google translate is your friend. Hotel is in building w gigantic, shiny, pretty and clean shopping mall. Big Starbucks, tea shops, etc. nearby neighborhood has phenomenal cafes. Adjacent to massive marina, mangrove park which is pleasant and pretty In all I would stay here again.
Stayed here recently and was quite disappointed. I originally booked a bay view room but was "upgraded" to a city view room, which felt like a downgrade — definitely not the view I was looking forward to. The hotel is in a shared building with office spaces, so the lobby and elevators were constantly crowded and slow, making it feel more like a commercial complex than a hotel. On top of that, mobile data connectivity inside the hotel was extremely poor, which made communication and navigation frustrating. Would expect better from a Hyatt-branded property.
