In my opinion, this is a really great hotel. Before our trip, I read a lot of negative reviews, which made me wonder if we made the right choice. A lot of people complained about the food. In my opinion, the hotel is really great for families with children. The food was very good (but of course, it's a hotel, not a tavern, so it depends on your expectations). There was delicious feta cheese, olives, fried eggs with bacon for breakfast, and for lunch, there were mussels, oysters, calamari, and pasta with shrimp. There was also chicken, pork, beef (very good), rice, and pasta. There was plenty to choose from for dinner as well. The bread was fresh, and you could also make hot toasts. In between meals, the bar offered fries, pizza, sandwiches, and ice cream (banana, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry). The drinks were good with a wide selection, and the same goes for alcohol. There were two regional beers and plenty of other options (moonshine, ouzo, rum, cognac, tequila) plus cocktails like Sex on the Beach, Piña Colada, Cuba Libre, etc. We had a superior family room (about 70 m²) on the top floor, with a huge terrace and a view of the pools and the sea. The room was cleaned daily, with the sheets and towels changed, and the bathroom and floors were cleaned. As soon as you entered the room, you could tell that the cleaning service had already been there. There are three pools: one with hydromassage, a large one for swimming (1.2m to 1.8m deep), and a smaller one for kids (0.7m deep). There was a lifeguard on duty every day from 10 AM to 6 PM (but you could swim at your own risk at other times as well). The staff was young but very polite and friendly, always with a smile. The beach is about 600 meters away. The water is very clear, and importantly, the entry is very gentle. You had to walk about 300 meters to have the water up to your waist. While snorkeling, you could see pretty white fish. A set of two loungers and an umbrella on the beach costs €12 per day (or €30 in food and drinks). We rented a car for a day and visited places like Sami, Assos, the Melissani Caves, and the beautiful Myrtos beach! On Sunday, we took a bus to Argostoli (the bus stop is right next to the hotel). Beautiful views, great weather, and overall, we were very satisfied!
The hotel is located on the southern shore of Kefalonia, close to the beach. Surrounded by a few shops and bars for tourists, the area is otherwise quiet and rather sparsely populated, which for my experience of Greece was definitely beneficial. The hotel itself was neat but without any particular luxuries. I had no objections to the room, it was fully equipped, towels and sheets were clean. The pools available on site are large enough to feel free to relax. The restaurant serves generally good buffet food, although it could have had more variety and there were bones in the meat. Soft drinks were good, although often too sweet and prepared as if from ready-made syrup and slightly diluted. The bar served mainly local spirits, which I personally liked, especially ouzo. The greatest compliments deserve the friendly service, both at the reception, as well as the restaurant, bar and cleaning staff. I think that most of the negative opinions result from inflated expectations in relation to, let's be honest, a budget trip. I recommend this hotel and would love to come back
We were very disappointed with the hotel’s restaurant services. The quality of the catering was far below what you would expect from something advertised as “all inclusive” – it felt more like low-grade canteen food. The meals were mostly tasteless and of poor quality, and basic items such as ketchup, lemon, milk, cereal, and even beer were often missing and not replenished in a timely manner. This is unacceptable, especially at a hotel claiming to offer all-inclusive service. The service itself was also a major letdown. Most of the staff seemed untrained and impolite. One particular incident was especially shocking: a waiter literally pulled the chair out from under my wife, telling us we were not allowed to sit with a chair taken from another table. This behavior was humiliating and completely unacceptable. Overall, the hotel’s restaurant was a huge disappointment for us, and we would not recommend it to anyone expecting quality food and professional service.
