V Hotel Bencoolen

I give this a 5-star experience with the hotel. We stayed there for 6 days from June 19 to June 24, 2025. What makes me into the favor the most was the hospitality and friendliness of the staff members. They helped us a lot, from being local guides to helping us, finding good and efficient restaurants and places to visit, to helping us moving our staffs and letting us borror staffs with no charge. I would say that the cons of the hotel is the size of the room. That is the only cons I found, thus it is a wonderful experience with the money I have spent. Great hotel!

Pros: hotel is well-maintained and the rooms are comfortably appointed. staff are polite and welcoming. checking in was easy and a late checkout request was accommodated. there is a small pool area where you can lounge about. location is excellent if you need to be in the area close to both orchard and raffles city. restful sleep and an issue with hard pillows was resolved. Cons: by no stretch of the imagination can this be considered a 4 star hotel. rooms are small and there aren’t any amenities except the pool. no breakfast. the price reflects that and it was decent value.

Nice hotel with a small but well-maintained swimming pool. Friendly staffs. Good breakfast. Convenient access. However, soundproofing was not so good. Inside my room I could still hear walking noise from the corridor, indistinguishable talking noise from other rooms, and water splashes from the pool.
