A Wonderful Stay at V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh. I recently had the pleasure of staying at V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always going above. Whether it was a casual breakfast or a more elaborate dinner, the team consistently provided impeccable service, making dining a delightful experience. At the pool, I was amazed by how attentive and caring the staff were. They made sure every guest was comfortable, offering drinks, fresh towels, and checking in regularly to ensure our needs were met. The poolside service was top-notch and added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. One of the standout moments was the problem-solving experience I had at the reception. They were quick to resolve the situation with a smile, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, V Hotel Sharm El Sheikh offers great value for money. Our stay at V-Hotel was overall okay, but definitely came with both highlights and disappointments. We arrived very early in the morning (around 5 a.m.), and unfortunately the night shift receptionist was not very friendly or helpful. Even with small requests, he didn’t make any effort. Thankfully, the daytime reception staff were much nicer and more accommodating. The first day we were given a joke of a breakfast honestly. That's all i got to say. The room we were given — a sea view room — was actually very nice and spacious. However, the first impression was tainted because the bedsheets weren’t properly clean and had blotchy stains. We called housekeeping, and the cleaner was kind and explained it was a laundry issue. Still, it should’ve been caught before check-in. After that incident they cleaned the room really good and made quite funny characters with towels. The beach was the best part of the hotel — truly beautiful and we went almost every day. The infinity pool was also really nice, and the towel service was great. However, the beach and pool experience was affected by constant vendors trying to sell services. While some were kind, others were pushy and even made the experience uncomfortable at times, especially in a way that felt targeted more toward women. Not the hotel’s direct fault, but still worth noting. The cocktails were another letdown. If you’re into proper mixed drinks, this isn’t the place. Most of the time, it felt like straight vodka with a drop of syrup. The bartenders at the main bar didn’t seem to know how to make anything beyond the basics. Some were friendly, but overall the drink quality was poor. We had a frustrating situation with the TV. I wanted to watch YouTube or mirror content from my iPad since we don’t speak Arabic or Russian, but it didn’t work. I asked the receptionist early in our stay and was told it’s not allowed. Later, I found out from a friend that it worked for them, and I could even see other TVs in the hotel playing YouTube. When I brought it up again near the end of our stay, they offered to send an engineer — but at that point, it was too late. It felt dishonest and like they didn’t want to deal with it earlier. As for food — it was very hit or miss. Sometimes it was really tasty, especially breakfast with fresh eggs. Other times, it felt basic and repetitive. Desserts, especially cakes, were not great. But the ice cream was delicious! The pizza, on the other hand, was disappointing: too oily and far from what you’d expect from a standard pizza. The restaurant Antika was a highlight for me — I really enjoyed it. The beach sunbeds were also a downside. Many were broken or had ripped covers, and the adjustable shades often didn’t work properly — small details that add up over time. On a positive note, the taxi service from the hotel lobby was excellent — very friendly and professional. Overall, V-Hotel has potential. The beach and pool are lovely, and some staff really do their best. But between the cocktail quality, inconsistent service, pushy vendors, and small but constant inconveniences, it didn’t fully meet expectations for an all-inclusive stay.
