Rooms spacious and clean. However the door to our building didn't close, our back door to apartment didn't lock, and our Jacuzzi didn't work. Was told maintenance would come in to fix these issues. No one ever came. Been getting the run around ever since with management saying they would make up for these issues. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing after empty promises from the manager.
If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I was forced to stay here for a couple nights because the resort is booked at had maintenance issues. When I checked in, they were incredibly rude and gave me ZERO information about the resort or surrounding areas. They didn't even give me WiFi information. Our room was... Okay. There was some sort of garbage or cloth left on the kitchen counter. Shortly after checking out, I realized I left an electronic in the room under my pillow. I was unable to go back due to having tickets for an event in town. I called to ask them about it and was told someone would be in contact with me. I never heard, so I drove over the next morning. They said nobody had found anything. I know, for a fact, that I left it there, which meant they either didn't change the sheets or a housekeeper stole it. Since I was able to go back into the room to look, I can say that the housekeeper took it. I would never, ever recommend staying somewhere where the staff is so untrustworthy, not to mention rude and unfriendly. When we were able to check into our actual resort, they asked if we had received a guide and information about the city and I said no, because we didn't. The kind person checking us in made a face that could only be construed as a "yikes" face. 100% stay away from this place. I feel for all the people who have been sucked into this timeshare scheme. Whatever they may promise, their wishes of well being do not make up for the dishonesty and poor customer service they provide. Without righting these wrongs with us personally, I would never consider any stay at any of this filthy timeshare's properties.
Review for Vacation Village at Williamsburg Even though the rooms are spacious, the unit we stayed in was very poorly maintained. The one positive was that the staff honored my original request—I had booked a four-bedroom unit so my large family could be together. Upon arrival, they initially had two two-bedroom units separated, which was unacceptable. Thankfully, they worked to accommodate us in one four-bedroom unit, and I greatly appreciated that effort. The staff was consistently kind and accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the quality of the unit itself was far below expectations, especially compared to other properties I’ve visited, such as Kings Creek or resorts in Florida. I stayed at 4870 Long Hill Road in Units 203A and 203B from August 16–23, 2025, and the units were dated and poorly maintained: The stove was not functioning properly, and the oven door was loose. Doorstops were missing, and dresser drawer knobs were falling off. Cobwebs, dust, and spiders were present throughout the unit, including on fixtures and the stairway. Rodent and insect traps were left under the kitchen sink. The freezer had a solid block of ice that had clearly never been cleaned. The dishwasher had a foul odor. The wallpaper was peeling away from the wall where it met the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Much of the furniture was old, worn, and tattered. It felt like housekeeping only removed trash, changed linens, and did the bare minimum between guests. My husband even had to repair the stove and I had to screw knobs back onto the furniture ourselves just to make the unit functional. Aside from the coffee maker, toaster, and blender, very little worked properly. Even the clocks were flashing as if no one had reset them after a power outage. For a property where guests pay annual maintenance fees, the lack of upkeep is extremely disappointing. While I appreciated the staff’s effort to accommodate us, the condition of the unit was unacceptable. Unless major updates and improvements are made, this is not a property I would choose to return to in the future. *** and to top things off, when I got out of the shower and there was a huge cricket sitting in the middle of my bathroom floor...Very much ALIVE
