An amazing experience that we will not soon forget! The hotel's location is perfect for a nice walk to attractions in Winterberg (Shopping area, Ski Lifts, Rodelbahn, Hiking Trails, etc.), and a short drive to surrounding towns with other attractions (swimming, mini-golf, boating, etc.). The sauna and wellness area is very relaxing. Soothing music in the background while you enjoy multi temperature saunas, steam rooms, the heated pool, water bed massages, or a comfortable chair to chat with friends or family. The "key to everything" is a bracelet that is used to open your room or charge purchases (meals, souvenirs, drinks, hours at the spa). It fits nicely on your wrist and is water and sweat proof. Great idea, so you don't need to carry a lot of cash with you. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They gave us the lay of the land with a lot of suggestions for things to do in the hotel and the surrounding areas. Typical breakfast buffet, but dinners were fantastic! 3-4 course meals that'll make your taste buds go wild. Bar menu is limited, but a very nice selection of Gin. Choose your room wisely because it does matter. The room we had was small and fit the bill for sleeping, but it was a bit cramped with the twin beds, desk, two chairs, and a wardrobe. Believe that the smell of wetness in the room was due to the shower doors not being able to close all the way, which causes water to be on the floor while showering. All in all, it is a great experience that we hope to do again in the near future. Might bring more family members and get an apartment instead of a couple of rooms. They get 9.75 stars out of 10 (because of the shower doors).

Location top, dinners great. Kids friendly, however the kids club they could improve a bit, very small and outdated in my view. Kids buffet can be improved, it was everyday chicken and friet, could add some pasta and beef, carrots, etc. Please be aware that it is a Dutch place.:) Rooms a bit small. Overall, can recommend to everyone, especially with kids and who ski.

Went during winter. Nice hotel, breakfast and diner were also good. Sauna is very beautiful and nice. We booked a 2 person room and also used the ski/snowboarddepot that was included. However, when you have a snowboard and skis, 1 pair of shoes will NOT fit in the locker. The depot is really small when you have a 2 person room. We addressed this to the reception and were allowed to bring the boots into the hotel room. We didn't get a bigger locker because they are linked to the hotel rooms. However, when we returned in the hotel room after dinner it was stinky in the room, perhaps because of the wet ski shoes. We only stayed 2 nights so it was not super bad but be aware when booking a 2 person room and you have a snowboard! Also be aware that when you have 2 snowboards, only 1 snowboard will fit into the locker. As the rooms are not that big, it's not nice to bring the gear into your room.
