Nice and quiet and enjoy the sea within walking distance

We stayed at the mini-campsite and had booked from April 1st to 5th. We stayed in a cottage at the mini-campsite. First of all, we were received in an unwelcoming manner and had to pay cash immediately, an amount that hadn't been communicated in advance. This had to be done immediately and in cash, or I wouldn't get the keys, I was bluntly told. The tourist tax was also higher than stated on the table. The dog surcharge hadn't been communicated in advance either. The light above the countertop was broken in the cottage itself, as was the light in the bedroom. We reported this because it was too dark to cook. Two workmen came to take a look, but they couldn't fix it. The light remained broken. The curtain also came down when we opened it because it wasn't secured, a fact we were later accused of. The two bikes we rented were broken and had been repaired shoddily with tape. When the tape came off, we were accused of breaking the bikes. Throughout the day, we were disturbed by industrial work. When I asked if it could be quieted down a bit, I was told I'd just have to accept the work and the resulting noise. It seemed like we had to completely adapt to the landlords' demands throughout our stay so they could make a quick and easy buck. We left a day early, and our vacation rental left a bitter aftertaste. Not recommended.
