A nice, big, well equipped and child friendly holiday home! Ijzerrust is surprisingly big holiday home with 3 bedrooms: 1 king-size bed (180cm), 1 queen-size bed (160cm) and finally a smaller room on the ground floor with bunk beds (can also be placed side-by-side). The interior is decorated in a more rural/modern rustic style, with lots of woods which makes it feel cosy. The master bedroom has an African theme. The house is well equipped, complete with dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, induction cooker... It also has lots of child friendly features: safety gates on both sides of the stairs, a baby chair, 2 baby beds, a changing table and lots of toys and boardgames. Other noteworthy features: - a nice sauna (electrical heater) - solar panels (which reduce electricity costs) - a bicycle - a private forest (2000 m²) with some swing sets and outdoor toys - a massive amount of information on everything nearby (from museums to gas stations) Ijzerrust is located in the small town, but with all the necessary shops: 2 butchers, a baker, a small grocery store... You can find a small supermarket 10 minutes by car. The only downside to the location is parking. The house is located in a small alley off the main street and it does not have a driveway or private parking spots, so you have to park on the main street. Ijzerrust is located very close to the Belgian-French border, making it an excellent location for daytrips as far as Dunkirk and Calais to the west and Ypres and the Belgian coast to the east. In short: a very nice, child friendly and well equipped vacation home in a good location.
Beautiful cottage in Roesbrugge. Nothing was lacking. Beautiful courtyard, indoor terrace with BBQ and also sauna available. The private forest is recommended for the children. Inside also beautifully and cozily decorated.
Take a break with the entire family while the children can fully enjoy themselves. What more could you need? Very cozy house with very beautiful and large spaces. Ideal to go with children and family.
