We came here spontaneously for the Easter 2024 weekend and I think on reflection this has to be my favorite hotel ever. On arrival the reception staff make you feel like kings welcoming you with a the biggest smile (genuine), drink and showing the facilities of the hotel. When we were showed to our room we were delighted to see a a good sized room with two double beds (we are a family of 4), very clean and modern facilities. An additional incredible surprise was the infra red sauna. This weekend the weather sadly was not great so we made full use of the facilities win and around, we tried the spa , the indoor and outdoor swimming pools and observed in wonder and delight all the old antiques, in particular the vintage telephones (still working - they don’t make them like they used to). We hiked around taking in the spectacular scenery and landscapes. All just wonderful and heart fulfilling. We met the healthy and a happy rabbits and chickens and enjoyed the lovely children’s outdoor play area and the lovingly curated gardens. For children , there is the most amazing indoor area which caters to all creative needs, sporting area for kids who want to play football or table tennis and also an indoor pool table and bowling alley! Led by wonderful Luca We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Each sitting, led by happy , welcoming staff and you feel the love of this hotel poured into the taste of the food served at each sitting (thank you to Thomas). In the evenings you are ate treated to 4-5 courses and the food is just delicious. For Easter Sunday we arrived for breakfast to a homemade giant Easter egg, coupled with even more chocolate and a traditional bread with a painted egg. The attention to detail is second to none, every day i/we have all of been surprised and made to feel happy. This is all thanks to the family and staff who run this wonderful hotel. This hotel is so unique, somehow it has all the luxury you could possibly want catering to needs of anyone eg families, children, couples etc…together with the unique beautifully curated charm and history which is visible throughout to make you feel like you are just “at home” with the overall essence of the love of the family running this hotel - service, food, scenery, facilities. It is just perfect. From our family to yours thank you for making us feel so special and welcoming us so genuinely and with love, ❤️ we will be back and telling everyone we know to come visit.

Very nice and accommodating hotel. We stayed here for a weekend trip to going Skiing and will be back for sure. The Ski lift is literally a 3 minute walk away and even when the weather isn’t great to go up the mountains the hotel got you covered: welcoming staff, a great Spa and the food make this place a little gem. I’d like to double down on the food aspect in particular: from Breakfast to Dinner everything has high quality, offers a broad selection (including vegan 🌱choices) and is presented well. Highly recommended!

We did not stay in the hotel but had some lunch during an excursion! They have good variety and great selection of local food. The terrace is fairly nice, if there is no wind. Overall a good experience!
