Vale de Milho Village

I would have given 10 stars for service if I could. We were able to check in hours earlier (we had an early flight) and check out 5 hours later (we had a late flight back) without additional charges! We requested toppers for our bed and we got it almost immediately. We even asked for some coffee at our day of departure and we got some! Even tho they had to deal with needy, annoying guests like us, they didn't miss a single step with their service and smiles. We can't thank the staff enough for the friendly service, help, laughter and a truly magnificent stay at the Vale!

Can’t say enough good things about this slice if paradise - it’s simply perfect. Enjoyed our stay so so much that we are actually planning the next, and this time we are going with more people. Can’t enjoy this alone - it needs to be shared. I mean talk about perfect location - quiet, peaceful and cute. We got an upgrade to a 3 bedroom townhouse (the 2 bedroom was already going to be too big so this was like palatial), so we had tons of space to spread out. One of the rooms became our dressing room 😁. Massive kitchen, very good size dining/living room (all merging into one), then out on the linai where you could comfortably have a party with 10 people are still not feel crowded. And then the pool - ooohhhhh Lord. Cute. Mindful. Demure 😊. Two bedrooms upstairs have a balcony looking over the pool also. Massive thank you to the check in team (Andre) and also the cleaning team who constantly kept the place spotless. You made our holiday so amazing. Thank you. Tips for Travellers If you intend to do some exploring then a rental car is a good idea. But Uber is readily available and not expensive. I would say think of what you would like to do, price up the uber trips and then check cost of rental - then decide which is cheaper. Factor in petrol and also parking - which can be a pain at times (in the towns not the Resort). There are nearby shops - do a good shop the first day and you’ll not need to have a repeat shopping trip. Carvoeiro is about €4/€5 in Uber - tons of shops and restaurants. Try out Levels for Breakfast, and for dinner go to the Tapas de Milho - both stunning. Don’t get tempted by Albufeira - it’s not cute. However they do have some nice sea excursions departing from the Marina.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days at Vale de Milho. The reception team provided a warm and friendly welcome, providing useful information about the locality. We were assured we would enjoy our stay in number 24. We weren’t disappointed, a beautiful 3 bedroom villa with excellent outside space. The pool table was a great unexpected bonus!! We had originally booked a two bedroom but we were able to easily contact the reception team and upgrade to a 3 bedroom in the weeks leading up to our stay. The villa was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was regularly cleaned during our stay. The pool was perfect for us, we soaked up the sun round it during the daytime and headed out to Albufeira in the evenings. I highly recommend Vale de Milho, it always felt safe and secure and parking outside the villa was easy. It was perfect for us.
