Amazing place. We stayed two nights in a superior bungalow with half board and had the best time. The bungalow was clean, cozy, and had a private hot tub just for us. Perfect for couples, we went for our anniversary and loved everything. The staff were super friendly and the food was great. Also good for families with bigger bungalows. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return.
The Valentin Hotel is in a truly special location – surrounded by greenery and yet just steps from the sea. You simply cross a quiet road and you’re already at the stunning Playa de Muro beach. It’s the perfect mix of peaceful nature and beachside access. The rooms are charming little bungalows – beautifully decorated, cozy, stylish, and very clean. You have your own private space, which creates a wonderfully relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The entire property is well-kept and spacious – it really feels like a true getaway. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming – we felt right at home from the very beginning. The breakfast buffet was fantastic: fresh, varied, and high quality. We didn’t book the dinner buffet, but other guests spoke very highly of it. The pool bar offers delicious snacks, cool drinks, and excellent service. A big shout-out to the housekeeping team – the bungalows were always spotless. All in all, this place has it all: location, comfort, service, and style. Highly recommended – we’ll absolutely come back!
Overall the resort is very nice, the swimming pools are clean, and the service is generally good. The restaurant offers a good variety of food, and the staff is professional and friendly for the most part. However, a few of the younger and inexperienced staff showed a poor attitude. The biggest drawback was the service at the bar, very slow and definitely in need of improvement. What really impacted our stay, though, was the lack of proper pedestrian infrastructure. There’s no zebra crossing to safely get to the beach, and cars speed along the main road, making it feel quite unsafe. Additionally, there are no pavements on the roads leading to the city centre. This made it dangerous to walk, especially with kids, and as a result, we felt stuck in the resort for the entire week. We would’ve loved to explore more, but the conditions made it too risky which is a real shame.
