Valhalla Resort Hotel

From the moment Tommy met us at the front door, we knew our stay was going to be special, and it was! We were celebrating our 48th anniversary and we simply wanted to relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and Valhalla was exactly what we had hoped for, and more. The service was amazing. The food was so spectacular that we ate most meals on site taking advantage of Valhalla’s extraordinary chef. The sunrises and sunsets from our balcony were spectacular. We particularly enjoyed riding through the small towns in the area and hiking to some of the beautiful waterfalls in the area. Our room was perfect and well equipped. However, the one thing that stood out the most is the people on their staff. From the waiters in the dining room to the people cleaning our room to Jan and the staff managing the front desk to the guys cleaning the pool each morning, everyone we met made sure we were pampered. And what stood out the most…..it all was genuine, never forced or fake, genuine. Everyone there was honored and grateful to be there and made us feel so special. We felt like family! It was an anniversary we’ll never forget! Thank you!

We stayed here on a girls trip over the weekend. Everything was amazing! The staff was fantastic and sweet as pie, especially Judy at the front desk. We were welcomed with champagne to celebrate our friends birthday. The bungalow was clean and cozy. The room was stocked with treats and drinks, we had robes and slippers! The food was incredible, in fact we ate every meal there instead of trying local places. The wait staff was so kind and fun to interact with. The first night we stayed well after closing time and they did not try to rush us out. The sky bar has breathtaking views. We spent one day at the spa and it was heavenly. Going to plan a return trip in the fall to see the leaves changing!

My word! What a glorious, upscale hidden gem. This place was so cool. We went there three times. Free parking. Gated with security just tell them your visiting the SkyBar and they'll give you a parking pass and let you in. This hotel is photo op heaven! There's a fine dining restaurant on the 1st floor. We ate there and the food was glorious. Before you take the elevator up to the fourth floor sky bar, be sure to tour around that first floor to see artwork for sale, a grand piano and the gift shop. The SkyBar is immaculate. We had several cocktails 🍸 and great wines 🍷 and appetizers. The view was superb a perfect stop while on vacation in Helen, GA. Highly recommend!!!!
