VALO Hotel & Work Helsinki

Nice hotel with very comfortable rooms. Generally quiet, although when I stayed there was a world dog show in town and dozens of dogs in the hotel. I had the bad luck of having an inconsiderate guest across the hall who left their small dog in the room alone whenever they felt like going out, and the dog barked, cried and scratched at the door incessantly. Informed the staff, but nothing changed. Aside from that, a pleasant place to stay a few nights. Not the best location, but easy access to public transport to get to central Helsinki, if you don’t have a car. And a secure parking garage below the hotel, although at an additional cost. Gym, dry sauna, jacuzzi and ice pool on the rooftop. But also an additional cost. Everything is a la cart at the hotel, so be prepared to spend extra money for any services beyond the base room cost.

I stayed one night at Valo Hotel & Work in Helsinki. If you’re not necessarily looking for picturesque views but instead want a comfortable and truly carefree stay, this is the place to be. Everything happens under one roof — work, dining, sleeping, living. From the parking garage, lobby, restaurants, and bar to the room, bed, bathroom, and staff — every detail has been carefully thought out. Public transport is nearby and takes you quickly wherever you need to go. Highly recommended.

If you are just coming for the Wellness I can say it's pretty nice but be aware. Kids are allowed so it turned more into an adventure park and less of relaxing. I don't know if thats always the case or because we were there in the summer. The saunas are nice though with a great view and there is a rooftop bar.
