The budget hotel does the job. The location is super convenient — just a short walk from King’s Cross Station. The room was small with a tiny window, so the air didn’t circulate very well, and there was a slight musty smell. Still, it wasn’t unbearable for a short stay. The staff were friendly, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, it’s not fancy, but you get what you pay for. Suitable for budget-conscious travelers who just need a basic place to sleep in a central location.

DO NOT STAY HERE IN SUMMER!!!!! I stayed at this hotel during a heatwave (33°C), and it was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. The Agoda listing clearly stated that the room had air conditioning, which was a blatant lie. There was no A/C, and initially no fan either. The window barely opened, so the room had zero ventilation — just unbearable heat trapped inside. On the first night, we found a giant spider with long legs, the headboard was broken and could have fallen on us, and the bathroom door handle kept falling off. We were moved to another room, thanks to the night staff who were very kind (unlike the rude and unhelpful morning staff who did nothing to help us). In the second room, there was a fan, but it barely blew any air — and what little it did blow was warm. We turned it off before leaving for the day, and when we came back, it was broken. It seems that the cleaning staff left it running, and it stopped working from being on all day. When we complained, we were told no fans were left. That meant we were stuck in an extremely hot room, on the third floor (where heat rises and lingers even when it’s cooler outside), with no ventilation or way to cool down. To make matters worse, the TV didn’t work either. When we brought it up on the last day, they blamed us for not complaining earlier (even though we did) and said they would contact someone — but nothing was ever fixed. We paid for services that were never provided, and the entire stay was frustrating, exhausting, and incredibly uncomfortable. I would never return, and if you're coming during summer, expect sleepless nights and boiling rooms. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel rooms are way too small. The staff doesn’t do anything (they didn’t even alert us when we left an item behind) Things you can’t do in the room - * can’t have 2 people in the room * can’t have a large suitcase * can’t make coffee (no room) * can’t shower properly Seriously, this place is so small that you won’t even be able to sleep. The bed is pushed up against the wall making it hard to get out of the bed, windows hardly open. Loud at night with people smoking and hanging out in front of the hotel until 3am. WE finally had to kindly ask the people to leave - hotel staff should have done that. It’s literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed! Don’t make the same mistake! Also, check the weather because when we were there there was a heat wave making it unbearable. - * the location is good *
