Van der Valk Hotel Hilversum De Witte Bergen

We stayed at hotel hilversum , Amsterdam Netherlands. It was awesome. Rooms are big and perfect features.it has significant land scape and spacious parking. They served Very delicious breakfast. They made Dutch, English and Asian cuisine. All was good and tasty. They served more than 40 varieties. Staff was good and sincere.

Good hotel with helpful and attentive staff. Food was not great- all dinners came out in about 3 minutes with a boiling hot plate . Apart from that, good hotel but slightly in the middle of nowhere

First we get a room; the kettle is missing, but more importantly, the TV doesn't work. I ask reception for help; the receptionist comes up, and after about 10 minutes, he realises that the thing isn't working. After all his efforts, he told us, 'Is it important for you? (wowwww!!) I answered, "Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have asked you for a solution." He then said (now pay attention), "I'm asking because there are guests who don't find it critical." End of quote!!!!! After that, he offered us another room and wanted me to go downstairs with him to get the new key to the other room. As the elevator was broken, I immediately refused. 10 minutes later he comes back with the key, and we, hoping that everything will be OK from now on, are disappointed again that the key to the new room didn't work. The whole thing starts again. 10 minutes waiting on the corridor to get a working key. 7 pictures attached. The staff were borderline okay, even a little unfriendly. The 80`'s decor was unkempt and outdated, damaged but functional. For the price, I would have expected much better service. Therefore, never again. 1 star to express this opinion.
