Varali Grand Hotel

I loved the hotel we stayed at in Mazatlán! Our bus arrived at 10am and they let us check in early, which was such a nice surprise. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We asked for a blanket, and they had it ready for us right away. The next day when we went out, we came back to a little swan made out of towels and even a bow on the toilet paper — it was such a sweet surprise. The hotel felt very secure too. One day, we saw a group of guys trying to hang around the parking area, and security kindly asked them to leave since they didn’t have hotel bracelets. That made us feel even safer.

I recently wrote a review and right after writing and I received a phone call from the owner. Her name is Annie and she was very helpful and beautiful about making sure that she took care of my concerns. She was very efficient the way that she handled it, and I look forward to staying in her Hotel again in the near future. She probably addressed my concerns with the staff that she has on site. I am confident that she is doing her due diligence to make sure that her hotel remains in high-quality. The staff of this facility is very kind and I have no issues with them. the hotel is any great location. It’s quiet. and clean and I would recommend this hotel if you have children.

Just spent 4 days at this hotel. I rate a hotel based on what I experienced, nothing more or nothing less. The hotel is considered a 5 Star Hotel. From my experience, not true. Watch your valuables, stay alert. Infinity pool was beautiful, but all 4 days, was too cold to get in. The jacuzzi was luke warm, and only after we complained it was too cold. View is incredible but you are on the malecon and even with the balcony doors closed, it was loud. Rooms were nice and clean. Rooftop Restaurant was awesome, with food that was quite good. Staff were friendly! Not necessarily always helpful. Price was reasonable. Location a few blocks from the golden mile. Construction around this hotel is ongoing. Would suggest a stay for short term only!
