Weekend away for four ladies. We had a fabulous time. Varenna is so well appointed and the little touches to make the place feel homely and inviting are very thoughtful. The property is clean and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to be within walking distance to the main centre of Leura and wanting to enjoy luxurious accommodation. The grounds and gardens the property is surrounded by are also very beautiful.
We had a fantastic weekend! Five girlfriends and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The house was full of charm, clean and beautifully presented. All the little touches like breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine made it feel really special and welcoming. The location was also perfect, just a short stroll to shops, restaurants and cafes. We’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
Wow was the first word that came to mind the moment we arrived and opened the door. Our family enjoyed a lovely couple of nights at Varenna, a beautifully restored historic home with expansive and spectacular manicured gardens in the heart of Leura, just 2 minutes from Leura Mall. Entering Varenna felt like stepping into a world of timeless grandeur. The Edwardian styling and thoughtful restoration evoke the elegance and charm of yesteryear. Our host, Lorraine, has put so much thought into making our stay memorable. From the moment you walk through the door, you step back in time: lights and heating on, timeless music playing in the background. Then there are the personal touches: robes, slippers, and chocolates on the bed, a bottle of wine, port, and more chocolates waiting by the fireplace. The bathroom was complete with toiletries, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a country breakfast: bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, espresso coffee, and shortbread biscuits. Lorraine was delightful to deal with and made every effort to make our stay unforgettable. We didn’t want to leave. What a wonderful place to stay in the mountains!
