Vassos Nissi Plage Hotel & Spa

I’m very pleased with our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. We booked a sea-view room, and waking up to the stunning shades of blue every morning was truly the highlight of our trip. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day — very tidy and well-maintained. Our stay included breakfast and dinner, though on some days we opted to switch dinner for lunch so we could explore local restaurants in town. The food at the hotel was excellent — diverse, fresh, and very tasty. When we arrived, the section of Nissi Beach near the hotel had quite a bit of algae due to seasonal water bloom, so swimming wasn’t ideal at first. Luckily, we discovered that just a short walk to Nissi Island offered crystal-clear water, thanks to the sea current coming from the opposite side. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, especially being so close to the sea. However, for families with kids, the evenings can be a bit quiet. Aside from a short kids’ show (mostly for younger children), there wasn’t much to keep them entertained. Two things that could be improved: the Wi-Fi was quite poor throughout our stay, and there are no playgrounds or dedicated spaces for children. Also, keep in mind that the hotel is about 3 km from the city center — we ended up walking a lot every day, which was fine for us but worth considering. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing vacation spot, especially for those looking to unwind by the sea!

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel. I would like to say how lovely the bar staff are at the pool bar. We enjoyed speaking to them daily and one of the staff that went to the beds for the orders was always lovely. Thank you. Cocktails are delicious very well priced as is the food. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, a lovely choice and all very fresh. I felt it was excellent value and would recommend - we did not have lunch or dinner so unable to comment. The pool beds are very comfortable but I’ll say one thing. People seem to come in off the beach and I just feel guests should have a band to wear and given priority if there aren’t any. The pool area is very clean and well maintained. The room was lovely with a stunning view. I do feel the cleaning of the room lacked a little some days, I get the feeling there was 2 different people as some days were good and others not. Literally just towels changed and bed made. I felt this contributed to only giving 4 stars. A couple of points for people to consider it’s €10 cash deposit for a towel which is refundable at the end you get a receipt and the spa will change these for you every couple of days. This is not a problem just to point out. Also it’s €10 deposit refundable at the end upon return of the card, for an extra key card. You will only be issued one. Again not a problem at all. Just worth mentioning. I think it’s a fantastic location and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend.

Location is great, right on Nissi beach which is lovely. Overall, food was terrible, they did not have variety, the bare minimum and was not authentic, very bad for the price you pay to stay here. In the evening, they shut off the lights outside by the pool at 9pm, not allowing for guests to have a drink and sit outside to enjoy, it is a very depressing atmosphere. I would recommend staying anywhere else, as other hotels offer much better hospitality.
