Great hotel. Right in the middle of Sölden. The rooms are very nice looking, the staff is excellent and the breakfast is very good. On the 4th floor there is a spa (Dry, Wet and Finnish saunas) and also a relaxation area which is really nice plus a cool panoramic balcony. Parking is on a come-first basis and is not free. There were however some problems: a relatively small issue was that the minibar in our room wasn't working, and we asked the reception to take care of it, but through out our stay it stayed that way. A different matter is noise. The hotel is located close by to the church and the bells were ringing very loudly. In addition a lot of nearby businesses were unloading merchandise right next to our window, which made a lot of noise. Obviously the hotel can't control everything, but we did have trouble sleeping (maybe it was just our room). Still a very good hotel.
Myself and a group of friends stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. From the moment we walked in the staff were incredible. At all times they were polite and extremely helpful, we couldn’t have asked for more. The restaurant and bar area were lovely to sit and eat in for dinner in the evening and the rooms were of a very high standard. I always rate places based on if I would stay again. Hands down I would stay at this hotel next year for our long skiing weekend. Thank you Hotel VAYA for all your hospitality and professionalism. 5 star….
I visited this restaurant recently and here's my honest review: Pros: - The interior of the restaurant is visually appealing. Cons: - Unfortunately, I must mention that the staff's attitude left much to be desired. We didn't feel very welcome, and their demeanor came across as quite arrogant, which did not contribute to a pleasant dining experience. - In terms of value for money, we were left a bit disappointed. The portions were on the smaller side. - The dishes we tried had an average taste, and there was a lack of variety on the menu. We ordered baked cauliflower (which was essentially crunchy fried cauliflower), falafel with vegetables, and spaghetti with shrimp, and all of them were quite average, nothing particularly special. - To add to our experience, we were a group of four, each of us had one drink, and our bill exceeded 100€. We found this to be on the pricier side for what we received – a rather mediocre dinner without a great atmosphere. - I'd like to note that there are many nicer restaurants in Sölden, such as Corso or S'pfandl, which offer a more satisfying dining experience. In summary, while the interior may be visually appealing, our overall experience was marred by staff attitude (especially the blonde waitress and brunette receptionist), limited value for money, and dishes that failed to impress. There are better dining options in Sölden to explore. Don't be lured in by the charming exterior; there are more fulfilling choices in the area. Would not come back.
