Vedensky Hotel

Very nice place. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly. Halls, rooms, restaurants – all are cosy inside and comfortable. I used iron room – it is good and clean. The place is quiet. The rooms are easy to access: building has a lot of lifts. Breakfast is fantastic (they can cook omelet especially for you, it is included in breakfast price). Bathroom stuff was excellent and clean. I cannot remember anything bad or uncomfortable. The city view from the rooms is very ugly, but it was not important for me. Well... I did not find clothing brush in my room, when I suddenly needed it.

Great hostel ! We spent 5 days with my wife in St petersbourg on this establishment. The staff was polite and respecful. We had a room with a noisy equipment, the manager was really reactive and gave us a new room without any hesitations. The breakfast was marvellous. And, the restaurant inside was pretty good. If you read this advice : do not look any further, it is a very good choice to stay in this hostel

Worst hotel in the area, room ugly and the switch for the heating was not working. When we mention it at the reception they said they will fix it but obviously they didnt. So the only way to sleep is with open window. The room was not thoroughly cleaned every day. They provided kettle after we asked although this is an international standard and when we asked to pay for coffee sticks to prepare our coffee in the room, they where rude. And before that reception and lobby bar could not decide if we could pay or not for the sticks of coffee. So after a couple times of back and forth they said that we should just use room service. Such a waste of time and energy.
