We have very much enjoyed out stay at Nicolay. For owner and chef Johannes Nicolay preparing unique and very tasty dishes, it’s beautiful location at the boulevard of the Moselle, the modern sauna and swimming pool area and the friendly staff. For us (vegans) it is great to be able to eat everything offered at the abundant breakfast buffet and diner since all food on offer is vegan. It seems to me that also non vegans can have a great time here (unless hardcore meat lover)
We booked here for our friends who were visiting and are both vegans. The place was great, there are four restaurants with different food and we were in one with a set three course meal... Everything was extremely tasty. The service was quick and super friendly, the owner and his mother chatted to us for a bit and you can see the passion they have for the job, the restaurant, hotel and their family history there. We will definitely come back, I would recommend the place even if you are not a vegan but it is very special hotel for vegans! We also did the brunch the next day, was worth it!
Great experience. Hotel Nicolay 1881 is without a doubt a vegan's paradise 🌱 All the meals are delicious, especially breakfast. There you can eat a bowl of ice cream and enjoy the view of the Mosel River, It's so beautiful.
